How the High Free Cash Flow Stocks screen works

A stock is listed when it is an NSE-listed equity share and meets every condition below:

  • Free cash flow of ₹500 Cr or more
  • Operating cash flow of ₹500 Cr or more
  • ROCE of 15% or more
  • Market cap of ₹1,000 Cr or more
  • Positive P/E (loss-making companies excluded)

Results are sorted by free cash flow, highest first. Free cash flow is what is left after capital spending. Companies that generate a lot of it can fund growth, dividends or buybacks without borrowing.

High Free Cash Flow Stocks: common questions

How current are the financial figures?
Ratios built from results, such as growth, ROE, ROCE and margins, update as companies file their quarterly results. Price-based ratios such as P/E and P/B move with the share price every trading day, so a stock can enter or leave the screen between results.
Is every stock on this list a good investment?
No. A screen narrows thousands of listed companies down to those that meet a set of numeric conditions. It does not look at management, valuation history, sector outlook or news, so treat the list as a starting point for research.
