Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid services offered by Tapetide, operated by Hitesh Sisara (Sole Proprietor). By purchasing any paid plan or credits on Tapetide, you agree to this policy.

2. Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a refund only if both of the following conditions are met:

  • Usage threshold: You have used less than 20% of your purchased credits or allocated usage at the time of the refund request.
  • Time limit: Your refund request is submitted within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date.

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • More than 20% of credits/usage has been consumed
  • The request is made after 7 days from the date of purchase
  • The account has been suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Use
  • The purchase was made using a promotional offer, coupon, or discounted price (unless otherwise stated in the promotion terms)

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with the following details:

  • Your registered email address
  • Date of purchase
  • Transaction ID or payment receipt
  • Reason for the refund request

You can also submit a refund request via our contact form with "Refund Request" as the subject.

4. Refund Processing

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 3–5 business days of receipt.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
  • The time for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

5. Cancellation of Subscription

If Tapetide offers recurring subscription plans:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
  • No partial refunds are provided for the unused portion of the current billing cycle after the 7-day window.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged for the next cycle.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Free tier usage or complimentary credits
  • One-time setup fees (if applicable)
  • Services already fully consumed
  • Purchases made more than 7 days ago regardless of usage

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank without first contacting us for a refund, we reserve the right to suspend your account immediately. We encourage you to reach out to us first — we are committed to resolving issues promptly.

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of paid services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
