How the Best Quarterly Results Stocks screen works

A stock is listed when it is an NSE-listed equity share and meets every condition below:

  • Latest quarter sales growth of 10% or more, year on year
  • Latest quarter profit growth of 10% or more, year on year
  • Market cap of ₹500 Cr or more

Results are sorted by quarterly profit growth, highest first. Year-on-year comparison removes seasonality, so it shows whether the business actually grew rather than having a good season.

Best Quarterly Results Stocks: common questions

How current are the financial figures?
Ratios built from results, such as growth, ROE, ROCE and margins, update as companies file their quarterly results. Price-based ratios such as P/E and P/B move with the share price every trading day, so a stock can enter or leave the screen between results.
Is every stock on this list a good investment?
No. A screen narrows thousands of listed companies down to those that meet a set of numeric conditions. It does not look at management, valuation history, sector outlook or news, so treat the list as a starting point for research.
