How the Stocks Both FIIs and DIIs Are Buying screen works
A stock is listed when it is an NSE-listed equity share and meets every condition below:
- FII holding up by at least 0.5 percentage points over the last quarter
- DII holding up by at least 0.5 percentage points over the last quarter
- Market cap of ₹500 Cr or more
Results are sorted by change in FII holding, largest first. Foreign and domestic institutions often trade against each other. When both add to the same stock in one quarter, it is a stronger signal than either alone.
Stocks Both FIIs and DIIs Are Buying: common questions
What does "last quarter" mean for holding changes?
It compares the latest shareholding pattern a company has filed with the one before it. Listed companies file shareholding within 21 days of each quarter end, so the change describes buying or selling that has already happened, not live trading.
Why use percentage points rather than a percentage change?
A stake moving from 10% to 10.5% is a 0.5 percentage point rise. Measuring in points keeps a small stake doubling from 0.2% to 0.4% from outranking a meaningful increase in a large holding.
