How the Stocks at 52-Week High screen works
A stock is listed when it is an NSE-listed equity share and meets every condition below:
- Last traded price at or above the 52-week high
- Volume of at least 10,000 shares
- Market cap of ₹100 Cr or more
Results are sorted by today's % change, highest first. A stock at a 52-week high has no sellers left who bought higher in the past year, which is why momentum investors track this list.
Stocks at 52-Week High: common questions
Is a 52-week high the same as an all-time high?
No. A 52-week high is the highest price of the past year only. A stock can make a new 52-week high while still trading well below a peak from earlier years.
How often does this list update?
During market hours (9:15 am to 3:30 pm IST) the list is refreshed every few minutes, so stocks join and leave it as prices move. Outside market hours it shows the result of the last trading session.
Why is there a market cap and volume floor?
Very small or thinly traded stocks can move several percent on a handful of trades. The floors keep the list to stocks where the move reflects real trading activity.
