Is Tickertape MCP free?
Yes. Tickertape says its MCP is free for all users, including US trading, with standard brokerage on trades. Tapetide MCP also has a free plan.
Does Tickertape MCP cover Indian stocks?
As holdings, yes: it reads the Indian stocks, mutual funds and SIPs in your Tickertape portfolio and answers selected questions about them. Its quote, research and screener tools cover US stocks. For research on any Indian company, including ones you do not own, Tapetide covers about 8,000 NSE and BSE companies.
Can Tickertape MCP place trades?
US stock orders only. Each one shows a preview of quantity, price and fees, and goes through only after you confirm. It cannot place Indian orders. Tapetide MCP never places orders.
Which is better for US stocks?
Tickertape MCP. It has US quotes, financials, price history and a US screener across universes such as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100. Tapetide covers NSE and BSE only.
