Methodology
- Figures are provisional cash-market (equity) trading by FIIs/FPIs and DIIs on NSE, BSE and MSEI, published by the exchanges after each session, in ₹ crore.
- Net is gross buying minus gross selling. Monthly totals are the sum of the daily figures; a net-buy or net-sell day is a session with a positive or negative net.
- A streak counts consecutive trading sessions in the month with the same net direction. Holidays do not break a streak.
- The rank compares this month with every month in the trailing 24-month window shown in the history table. A month still in progress is ranked on its sessions so far.
- Sector-wise FPI net investment is reported fortnightly and covers equity, debt and hybrid investment, so it does not reconcile with the daily cash-market figures.
