Add Tapetide as a custom connector in Claude on the web.

Open Claude and find Connectors in Customize or Settings.
Add a custom connector named Tapetide and paste the server URL above.
Complete Google sign-in, then enable Tapetide in your conversation.
To stop the per-tool approval prompts, open the Tapetide connector, choose Tool permissions, and set each tool to Always allow.
Ask Claude.ai a first question to confirm the connection.

Does Claude.ai need an API token for Tapetide?

No. Claude.ai connects to the Tapetide MCP server over OAuth, so you sign in with Google when the browser opens. A personal token is only needed for clients that cannot open a browser.

Is the data real time?

Not as a live trading feed; freshness depends on the dataset. Quotes reflect the latest available prices; financials and ownership data follow their reporting periods. Index option chains are end-of-day snapshots. Ask your assistant to include the observation date or reporting period, especially when comparing datasets.
