# Tapetide pricing

Tapetide is free for 50 MCP or API calls and 10 TapeAi questions a day; paid plans start at ₹499 a month or ₹3,588 a year (Starter). Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial.

## Billing and upgrade questions

### What does the free plan include?

50 MCP or API calls a day with no monthly cap, and 10 TapeAi questions a day (50 a month). No card is needed. Paid plans raise these limits; the cards above show each plan's price and allowance.

### I use Tapetide inside Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app. Does a plan cover it?

Yes. Sign in on this page with the same Google account you used to connect your AI app, then pick a plan. The higher limits apply to every app connected to that account, usually within a minute, with nothing to reconnect. Billing & usage shows how many tool calls you have used today.

### Can I start with Starter and move to Pro or Pro+ later?

Yes. You can start on any plan and upgrade whenever you need more. There is no fee or penalty for upgrading, and you do it yourself on the Pricing page. No need to write to us.

### How does the 7-day free trial work?

You pay ₹0 today and get the paid features for 7 days. Cancel any time before the trial ends from Billing & usage and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, the plan you picked starts and the first payment is collected.

### Should I pick monthly or yearly?

Yearly costs less than paying monthly for twelve months, and the Pricing page shows the saving for each plan. If you are unsure which plan fits, you can still start yearly on a smaller plan: upgrading a yearly plan credits the time you have not used.

### I am on a yearly plan. How much do I pay to upgrade?

Only the difference. We credit the unused part of your current yearly plan and charge the higher plan for the time you have left. Your renewal date stays the same. Before you pay, the Pricing page shows the exact amount, the credit, and the date your new plan runs until.

### I am on a monthly plan. How does upgrading work?

Go to the Pricing page and pick the higher plan. It starts as soon as your payment is authorized, and it bills monthly from then on. The rest of your current month on the old plan is not credited, so upgrading close to your renewal date gets you the most value.

### Should I wait until the start of a month to upgrade my yearly plan?

No. Your credit is worked out for exactly the time you have left, so the amount is fair on any day. Upgrading today costs the same as upgrading later for the same remaining time, and you get the higher limits sooner.

### Can I move to a lower plan?

Not from the website yet. Email support@tapetide.com and we will help. You can also cancel, keep your current plan until the end of the period you paid for, and then pick a new plan.

### Can I cancel any time?

Yes, from Billing & usage. Cancelling stops all future charges, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for.

### Do you offer refunds?

Payments are non-refundable, which is why every new account gets the 7-day free trial first. The one exception is a billing error on our side, such as being charged twice. Email support@tapetide.com with your transaction ID and we will fix it. The full policy is on our Refund & Cancellation Policy page.

### How do I pay?

Checkout runs through Razorpay, so you can pay with UPI, cards, and the other methods it supports. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel.
