Not investment advice. Portfolios as of 31 Aug 2026, compared with 31 Jul 2026. Mutual funds disclose month-end portfolios within about ten days of month end, so this is the August 2026 disclosure, not today's trading. In the August 2026 portfolios (as of 31 Aug 2026), mutual funds added the most, by value, to LIC of India (₹16,723 Cr, 161 schemes added), Knowledge Realty Trust (₹3,819 Cr, 17 schemes added) and Paytm (₹3,633 Cr, 131 schemes added). The largest net reductions were in ICICI Bank, Eternal and Tech Mahindra. Across the 1,293 stocks the 1,003 compared schemes held at either month end, holdings rose in 556, fell in 551 and were unchanged in 186, against July 2026. Shares added were worth ₹1,02,242 Cr and shares cut ₹54,252 Cr at the 31 Aug 2026 close, a net +₹47,989 Cr. Values cover the 1,278 of 1,293 stocks with a closing price that day. 21 stocks were held by none of the compared schemes at the end of July 2026 and by at least one at the end of August 2026; 1 went the other way. A stock is counted as bought when that total rose, sold when it fell and unchanged when it did not move.
