Not investment advice. Portfolios as of 31 Jan 2026, compared with 31 Dec 2025. Mutual funds disclose month-end portfolios within about ten days of month end, so this is the January 2026 disclosure, not today's trading. In the January 2026 portfolios (as of 31 Jan 2026), mutual funds added the most, by value, to HDFC Bank (₹7,763 Cr, 211 schemes added), ICICI Bank (₹4,791 Cr, 221 schemes added) and Biocon (₹3,422 Cr, 75 schemes added). The largest net reductions were in MCX, Bajaj Finance and Polycab. Across the 1,278 stocks the 1,035 compared schemes held at either month end, holdings rose in 676, fell in 482 and were unchanged in 120, against December 2025. Shares added were worth ₹80,568 Cr and shares cut ₹38,839 Cr at the 30 Jan 2026 close, a net +₹41,729 Cr. Values cover the 1,261 of 1,278 stocks with a closing price that day. 6 stocks were held by none of the compared schemes at the end of December 2025 and by at least one at the end of January 2026; 6 went the other way. One plan per scheme is counted. - Holdings are summed across the compared schemes for each stock. A stock is counted as bought when that total rose, sold when it fell and unchanged when it did not move. Listed shares, REITs and InvITs are included; ETF and fund units are not. - Value change is the net change in shares times the closing price on 30 Jan 2026, so a price move alone never counts as buying or selling. - Splits and bonuses between the two month ends are taken out of the share counts, so a split never reads as buying.
